The design Process
The design process starts with me setting my designs down on paper. Sometimes I draw designs specially commissioned by clients.
Suitable fabrics are then sourced for the designs - I search in a variety of places from charity shops to worldwide via the internet. Sometimes the design inspiration comes from the fabric itself I see beautiful fabric and an idea springs instantly to mind!
The designs are transferred to a pattern from which the fabric is then cut and secured to the garment using adhesive bond.
The design is the further secured and highlighted with hand-embroidered knotted stitches.Designed to survive years of rugged wear!
A lot of time, care and attention goes into each creation! The result is a high quality, hand-made garment that will last for years.
